LOREE FOREST
Hike or bike ride. After a short but steep climb, circle
around to the top of Georgian Peaks for a fabulous view of the Bay,
then continue through varied terrain, scrub, and a reforestation area.
Located off of the 21st Sideroad, from Victoria Corners head up the
hill and look for cars parked just before the big bend.

THE NANCY ISLAND
HISTORIC SITE
Tithe Nottawasaga River, which was used during the War of 1812 as a
supply route for the Royal British Navy. The site is named for the
sailing vessel Nancy that was destroyed by American warships in 1814.
The hull now rests at the museum where visitors can also find
information and video re-enactments of the final encounters between
Canada and the U.S. Open weekends until mid-Jun., 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.;

SCENIC CAVES
NATURE ADVENTURES
T his is a great place for the family. Carved out by millions of years
of glacial ice, the caves and caverns are a must-see. Also check out
the views from the Niagara Escarpment, try a tree-top walk
(reservations required) or venture out on the new suspension foot
bridge, the longest in Ontario. For the faint of heart, there is
mini-golf, a trout pond, picnic area and gift shop. Open daily May to
